My brother Glenn needs help

If you're like me and you're reading this in good health, you probably take most good things in your life for granted.  I know I do.  My ability to enjoy all my senses, go to work everyday, have a good belly laugh... they're all such a part of my everyday life - I should be grateful, but instead I take them for granted indeed.

Meet my younger brother Glenn.  Unable to work physically for the past couple years, he lives a life of service.  He has been generous with his time to help strangers and friends alike in any way he can.  Sometimes it has yielded him a few bucks, mostly it's from the goodness of his heart.  Through the latter half of his adult life he has battled a plethora of health issues which has resulted in several back surgeries, followed by throat cancer which he fought and won, and now, stage 3b lung cancer.   To make matters worse, the harsh combination of chemo and radiation in his lungs and throat has killed his teeth, taking away what little enjoyment he had left for the pleasure of eating.  And I can tell you, as the brother of a chef, Glenn loved food!  ...Without teeth, not so much fun anymore.  His doctors are now concerned his deteriorating teeth are going to cause him jaw rot.  A man of faith, he has accepted all this as best as anyone can, and will be humbled, maybe even angry that I am sharing his story.  He asks for nothing.

By the grace of God, he was just told his lung cancer is in remission and the tumors have shrunk.   Miracle number 1.  Next up, Glenn needs some dentures to be able to resume eating "normally".  He has been sick for so long, there's little left to his benefits, and every program we've tried, he always comes up "ineligible" for one reason or another.  I throw him some financial support when I can, and that's challenging with the new business.

I pray that I can help my brother Glenn get some teeth, somehow, someway.  The cost of the dentures and the preparation of his mouth amount to almost $5,000.  That reality is so discouraging.

Can you help?  ...Any amount  would get him closer to that second miracle!  If you can't throw a few bucks his way, can you help by praying for him?  He will feel the love and that will help too.  And maybe you can share this in your family and social circles.  After all, we're all called to love and help our neighbor.  God bless you for reading this far, and for any consideration you may give to help my brother Glenn.  Thank you.
