IBEW, Local 3 Electrician, Erik Losurdo

Hi, I'm the sister of Erik Losurdo and I am raising money to help my brother survive the next seven months.

In January of 2020 my brother Erik, a 21 year journeyman for IBEW Local 3 electrician, got badly hurt on the job. He has been on workers comp since then, continuously fighting for his monetary benefits as he has been unable to work. During this time it has left him to battle a multitude of medical issues and hardships in his finances. He is in pain constantly but continues his physical therapy and hopes that he can have some medical relief soon.

Finally, he was awarded his monetary benefits, but then recently, had to hear a devastating blow. The insurance company objected to his permanent disability claim. They are objecting that he is not permanently disabled, which means he has ZERO income coming into his household. His legal team is working to fight this objection, however, he was informed he may not receive benefits at all, until April of 2024.

Over the last year, he has exhausted all of his funds. He is behind in his mortgage, his bills and his legal fees dealing with his divorce. He has NOTHING to help him get by for the next several months and your donations will help him until his settlement happens.

My brother took me in when I had nowhere to go in my 20s. And was able to help me get on my feet, and I would like to be able to give him some monetary relief.

If you know my brother, he is a very giving person. He is a wonderful dad, great uncle, awesome brother and amazing friend. He always knows how to lighten the mood, make you laugh and is always there whenever you need him.

He is not the one to ask for help, but he is desperate. I know a lot of us are struggling but any little bit counts. If you can help, we would appreciate it!
