As most of you know, my brother Mark was diagnosed with late stage oral cancer the day after Xmas. I was estranged from him for reasons a lot of you already know, too, but I put all that aside to be there for him through this, and to be there for my mom more. This has been an extremely hard and emotional process for us. My mom hasn’t been able to go to work since the middle of April because Mark required around-the-clock care. We explored the idea of a care home, but he wouldn’t go, and that’s difficult to do to any family member anyway. So, here we are in May and he doesn’t look like he has more than a week left. He isn’t eating or drinking. Just 4 days ago I could take him for a walk, he could eat by himself, but now he has declined so quickly that he is basically a vegetable, as people describe.

 

So, after talking with my mom last night we decided that this would help with any extra expenses that she can’t cover, and also any of things that come up that we might not expect yet. Any help is greatly appreciated, from the bottom of our hearts ♥️ Thank you!
