On August 6th, 2024, my younger brother Ryan Toomey and his partner Brandon lost everything in a terrifying house fire. Thankfully, everyone, including their beloved animals, are safe, but the loss is devastating.

Their newly built home, a symbol of their hard work and dedication, is now in ruins. Ryan and Brandon are some of the kindest people I know. They have consistently gone out of their way to support others, including opening their home to multiple foster animals over the years.
