• Hello friends. For those of you that know me, I don't have to tell you how much my cat Bradley, my new puppy Barnaby, and all my past 8 cats and dogs mean to me, as well as the dozens of clients I call family over the past 15 years of pet care.

I adopted Bradley 9 years ago when he was 9. He's been a handful, as most of you know his horror stories. I should have given up on him two months after I got him, but I figured he'd had a hard 9 years before me, and I just get so attached to all of them.

Bradley is about 18. He's in excellent health but has this benign growth in his butt that started off last year the size of a golf ball and is now the size of a tennis ball. Honestly, I didn't think he'd outlive the necessity for this surgery, but he's always been my stubborn boy.

Because of his age when I got him, I couldn't get him insured.

Bradley's surgery cost $8,000.

I need and would appreciate any help, even if it's to spread the word to your family and friends.

It makes me sad to have to reach out for help. I feel like a bad daddy that I'm not able to do this on my own.

I'm so very grateful for any help you can give financially or in spreading the word.

UPDATE December 8th. Bradley is out of surgery and doing fine. He'll have a bit of recovery time.

UPDATE Bradley is home and recovering well. I'm good spirits purring all the time. I'm so happy he's home with me. We took a face to face nap today under the Christmas tree where his sprawling bed and blankets are nesting.

UPDATE: December 13th 2025

Bradley is steadily recovering each day. He'll have his stitches out a week from Monday. I'm expecting the biopsy results this week. He's walking around and able to get up on the table using the chair for his meals. I

take the soft cone off when I'm watching him. He's okay she become used to having it in when I have to leave.
