Hi, my name is Frankie Eisenhut, and I am the Playwright, Producer, and Assistant Director for the upcoming production of My Body, My Health, My Choice!, presented by the New York Theater Festival. I began writing this play in 2021 as a response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the State Abortion Ban, as part of my Senior Thesis for my Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Performance at SUNY Purchase. This play had a staged reading last year, which allowed me the opportunity to revise the play as needed. After many long nights of editing the play, I felt that it was finally ready for a staged production and soon after, it was accepted into New York Theater's Summerfest.

My team and I are looking to raise funds for this production to afford costumes, props, and set pieces, as well as any additional supplies, such as scripts. Any remaining funds will be donated to abortion rights organizations. The show is scheduled for May 9th-13th 2023, we are hoping to reach our goal by May 1st.
