After years of waiting, I have top surgery scheduled for January 7th! Thanks to my job I have insurance that will cover a large part of the costs. But, as you may know, this surgery is expensive and major. I will have up to $3000 in medical bills and time off work to recover. And, as you may know, I am a farmer and a teacher which happen to be two jobs that are undervalued and therefore underpaid. I am trying to raise some money in donations to help cover the expenses of the surgery and healing. I am not one to ask for help on this kind of a platform, but I need help and I need this surgery to feel at home in a body I have never quite felt at home in.
