My name is Mika and my kind, intelligent, beautiful big brother, Chris, is currently in hospice for end stage esophageal cancer. I have hit road block after road block trying to help him access his Social Security benefits that are being held hostage on his “Direct Express” account. The SS Administration has been unable to hasten the distribution of these funds to Chris and “Direct Express” will not speak to me, even though I am his designated Power of Attorney and his Representative Payee.
