My friend needs your help! My BFF Gwynn Russo was in a bad motorcycle accident on 5/28/22. She was rushed to the hospital and needed emergency surgery to repair a broken femur. She was released from the hospital and sent home to recover, and then something unbelievable happened. Two weeks into her recovery, out of nowhere, she suddenly lost all strength and feeling in both her arms and legs and collapsed. She called 911 and was again rushed to the hospital. She was admitted, and they started running all kinds of tests. She was unable to move her arms and legs and was also having trouble breathing. After CT, MRI, and Spinal Tap, she was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease called Guillain Barre Syndrome. 'GBS' is an autoimmune disorder in which the body's immune system attacks the nerves. Guillain Barre Syndrome is a very rare condition that afflicts about 1 out of every 100,000 people.

Fast forward to now. Gwynn is at home, confined to a wheelchair. She lives on her own in her house in North Carolina. She cannot work. She's been using a delivery grocery service. She can get around the house in the wheelchair but hasn't been able to leave the house. It's going on eleven weeks now. She's on meds for the GBS, and physical/occupational therapy for the broken femur. We are hoping and praying for a full recovery, but that is undetermined at this point. Please help my dear friend Gwynn if you can. She needs help with her monthly bills and her $7,000 medical deductible. Any amount will help, big or small. Thank you so much!
