Uterine mass removal and recovery
Donation protected
This is my best friend Sam, she is a full time student at TCC pursuing her degree in Psychology, she is also a part time employee at three jobs for 60 hours a week, pappadeaux's in grapevine, trinity staffing company in Dallas, and the Hilton hotel in southlake. She is one of the hardest working individuals I know. For the last 13 months she has struggled with severe back pain, irregular and debilitating menstrual cycles and persistent migraines and fatigue, despite this she pushed past her pain to continue working to support herself. On December 21st she had an appointment at the OBGYN where they performed an ultrasound to find a mass a bit larger than a golf ball in her uterus, while the doctors do not know if it is malignant or not they do know it has to be removed and biopsied. As you can imagine this is terrifying for any individual, especially a 22 year old girl. Her surgery to have it removed is scheduled for January 26th 2024, the surgery itself is expensive despite her health insurance, and the recovery will prevent her from working for 2 to 4 weeks post op.
All funds received here will go towards paying for her surgery and her expenses from lost income during her recovery, times are difficult for everyone right now and every penny helps.
Following her surgery I will update this page to inform all donors of her recovery status and the results of the biopsy.
Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
