My name is Nicole , and I am fighting for the life of my best friend, Tobi. Tobi has been my shadow since he was 8 weeks old and I was just in 7th grade. Now I'm in grade 12, and the cat who has seen me through every high school high and low is the one who needs me now. He was just diagnosed with a life-threatening partial urinary blockage. The vet told us this could turn into a full blockage at any moment, which is fatal.
The fear I feel is indescribable. Tobi is the heart of our home. He isn't just a pet, hes my best friend, he's our family's welcoming committee, running to the front door to greet every single guest with a curious meow.
He adores children and has the most gentle, patient spirit. He's the same cat who sleeps curled up by my mom's head every night, a loyal, warm guardian. He’s a dedicated heat-seeker, always finding the sunniest spot or a warm lap to purr on. His playful energy still lights up the room, and his love for his wet food is a joy to watch. He's been my constant. Through thick and thin, his purr has been my comfort. He saw me through the first day of grade 7, and I always pictured him being there when I walked across the stage at graduation.
We need your help to support him. My parents and I are doing everything we can to help him. We are committed to giving him a fighting chance and a longer life, euthanasia is not an option we are considering.
He is full of life and love, and we have to believe he can get through this. However, the cost of his emergency care is more than we can manage alone. The estimated cost for his treatment is 3000-4000. This covers the emergency vet visit, hospitalization, the urgent procedure to clear the blockage, and the lifelong special diet and medications he will need to stay healthy. I am humbly asking for your support. Any donation, no matter the size, will help save Tobi's life. If you are unable to give, please share this story, it would mean the world to us. Tobi has given me five years of unconditional love. Now, I’m asking for your help to give him the future he deserve.
