Hello my name is Tiffany and I am starting a fundraiser for my best friend, Ramonda, her son Noah. Noah is 24 and had a back surgery on May 4th, 2022 for a ruptured disc in his lower back. This was supposed to be only a few days stay in the hospital. He developed a hematoma (blood clot) on May 12th that resulted in him losing feelings from the waist down. The Dr.'s removed the blood clot on May 12th, and placed a drain in him. He regained some feeling back but nothing all feeling. Noah went to a rehabilitation center on May 23rd with the drain still in place. They removed the drain on May 27th where they discovered he had a major spinal fluid leak. This caused Noah to be in excoriating pain and was sent back to the hospital on May 28th. Noah leaked huge amounts of spinal fluid until June 1st, when the doctors did exploratory surgery on his back to learn his dura was torn. They stated his dura was torn approximately 2inches long by 1 inch wide. They repaired the dura during the exploratory surgery. That was 3 surgeries on Noah in less than 1 month. During the recovery of the 3rd surgery he developed an even larger hematoma. On June 11th, Noah had to have a 4th surgery to remove the hematoma. He is still in the hospital recovering for surgery. He still has not regained all feeling in his legs and has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
Noah has been in the hospital since May 4th and now not knowing how long his stay will be. My best friend, Ramonda, Noah’s mother has been right by his side every day, as any mother or parent would be. With this turning into an unknown amount of time for recovery this has caused financial strain for this family I hold very near and dear to my heart. We are asking for donations in any amount. It will help with transportation, food, along with other necessities (rent, bills, etc) with Noah not knowing how long he will be in the hospital and rehabilitation after as well as Ramonda, the mother and advocate, neither one of them are able to work during this time.
If you are unable to donate, please keep him in prayer! We appreciate you all during this time. We will continue to update everyone as soon as we know more details on Noah. Thank you and God bless.
