In July 2017, Tori started having extreme pain in the right side of her face. After months and months of misdiagnoses, fighting with insurance, and increasing pain, she finally had surgery to remove a large mass that was intertwined with her facial nerves.

All of Tori's upper teeth and maxilla had to be removed to get the tumor. There is a special dental obturator that can act as a replacement. This permanent device is about $ 17,000 and is not even covered by Insurance because apparently it is "COSMETIC". The doctor's office has been nice enough do to a payment plan, but will still only have 6 months time to pay in full or else she cannot get the device.

The tumor was unable to be completely removed because it was so close to her eye that they would have had to also remove the eye. The doctor wants to try to shrink the rest of the tumor before operating again. She is currently in the ICU at NYU medical center and they still have not narrowed down the exact type of cancer that it is. However, the cancer has spread to numerous parts of her body including her lungs and her bone.

 Tori is one of the strongest people that I know and I am fundraising on her behalf because she is too weak to do so herself right now.

Please spare anything that you can towards helping Tori pay for her medical bills. She deserves a fighting chance, and unfortunately,  the way medical insurance works now in this country is appalling.
