My Best Friend Sal (A New Short Film)

My name is Jackson Trombetti and I am here raising money for my new short film; My Best Friend Sal.

The film tells the story of Mickey, a shy, quiet, and unpopular kid as he visit the home of his best friend Sal to tell her he'll be switching schools. When Mickey arrives though he soon discovers that Sal has kidnaped their high school bully with plans to murder him. Now Mickey has to decide where his loyalties lie; In the future or with his best friend Sal.

This has been a movie I've wanted to make for a long time. I've always been a fan of buddy comedies and wanted to make one of my own. In high school your friends are your family and this film explores the importance of that relationship and the heartache that comes when it is threatened.
