To Help My Best Friend Loca Heal From Unknown Illness

Hi my name is Lori and I’m fundraising for my beloved dog Loca. Loca is a 4 year old American Bully, that we all love dearly. She was a healthy and extremely happy dog, loves our 1 year old son, great with all people and dogs, truly has a heart of gold.
We recently have fell on hard times after having my son, and could use all the support possible to save my best friend. We also sadly euthanized my senior childhood dog the same night this all happened, and the anxiety over losing another dog is unbearable.
Suddenly on Monday April 14th, Loca started experiencing severe regurgitation/vomiting, lethargy, not eating, drinking more and urinating more. We watched her very closely for a few days, hoping she just caught a simple stomach bug. This was not the case. After a few days, we saw no improvement. She had completely stopped eating, stopped passing stools, and was very sluggish, she also started having tiny amounts of vaginal discharge. We started her on antibiotics (amoxicillin/clauvanic acid). She started regurgitating less, but was still very sick. We brought her to the emergency vet on Good Friday, where she received Sub Q fluids and an anti-nausea injection. The vet told us to try feeding her when she got home, hoping it was not an obstruction and that the meds would help her. She ate when she got home, stopped vomiting, and appeared to be on the mend for 3 days. Suddenly again, she went downhill. Lots of regurgitation, stopped eating, drinking water excessively, having UTI symptoms (which have now stopped), lethargic. The next day (April 24), I brought her to Graham Animal Hospital, where she received blood work, X-rays, and ultrasounds. The blood work indicated she had high red blood count (due to being dehydrated), high white blood count, high NEU. Kidney, pancreas, and liver function was normal. The ultrasounds were abnormal, indicating a larger gallbladder filled with fluid, stomach distended and filled with fluid, intestines distended and filled with fluid. They could not locate a blockage, but it was not ruled out. X-rays showed the same thing, and they could see stool waiting to pass. The vet sent us home with different antibiotics (Metronidazole) and anti-nausea medication. Sub-q fluids were administered and an anti-nausea medication was given. We are still hopeful the antibiotics could kick in and start working on a possible infection.
The vet suggested we do a barium test for her digestive system to look for blockages, another ultrasound, more X-rays, tube drainage, a urinalysis, admission to hospital, more blood work, possible exploratory surgery, medication costs and more.
We are looking at thousands of dollars in vet care, due to her not improving… and even worse, losing my best friend.
We are praying we do not need to go forward with all this vet care, but we may not have a choice.
We love her so much, this could be life threatening, and we do not want to lose her. We are exhausting all resources to help her, and willing to do anything it takes to get her healed. We have applied Farley Foundation, and have been approved for $1500 coverage. Of course, that is just a fraction of the total estimated amount. Anything helps! Thank you so much
