Hi, my name is Alfonso, and I’m fundraising to save the life of my best friend and loyal companion, Snowflake.

Snowflake is a 5-year-old Maltipoo/"Westie" who has been my rock, my pride and joy. He’s much more than just a service dog—he’s family. Today, Snowflake is fighting for his life, and I’m reaching out with everything I have to ask for your help.

What Happened

On August 25, 2025, Snowflake had a sudden medical emergency that left him in urgent need of hospitalization and treatment. He was rushed to Eagle Rock Animal Emergency Hospital in Los Angeles, where doctors immediately began intensive diagnostics, IV fluids, pain management, temporary housing and emergency care.

The situation is critical. Snowflake needs immediate continued treatment—without it, I could lose him.

The Cost of Saving Him

Veterinary emergencies come with overwhelming costs. The estimate provided by Eagle Rock Animal Emergency ranges between $3,065 and $3,930 for the next 12–24 hours of care. This includes:

I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but this time, the reality is bigger than what I can manage alone. Snowflake has given me and my mom unconditional love every single day of his life, and now it’s my turn to fight for him.
