My Mom Rachel Marquez - family travel support

On Sunday September 3rd, my mom Rachel Marquez lost her battle with cancer and left this earth to join my dad in heaven. Watching her fight over the last 9 months has been heavy to watch when you wish you could just remove the pain so your loved one doesn't have to suffer anymore. Losing her has left our family broken.

As many know, a lot of Rachel's family including myself live in AZ and the expenses of travelling back and forth to CA, paying for food and somewhere to stay, loss of work, etc have all been incredibly stressful. I don't wish for anyone to have to have that added stress when also trying to grieve. If anyone has the ability to contribute, no matter the size, I would greatly appreciate it to help support travel costs for our family so we can be there for funeral services without the added financial burdens. Being self-employed, we don't get bereavement or any support when these things happen. For Rachel's sisters Patti and Yolie who left their own families in AZ to be by their sister's side also sacrificed a lot during that time and this would help to offer them support as well.

Ive had to humble myself to put this together and I can't thank those enough who have already reached out to me and my family. I know times are tough for many people so I cherish your thoughts and prayers just as much. Thank you.
