Hi everyone, my name is Shannon and I am trying to save funds to save my precious cat Billy. Normally I don’t like to ask for money and would figure out a way to cover it myself, but I just gave birth 6 days ago and am currently on maternity leave so any assistance in covering this bill would be a huge life saver. We brought Billy to the vet today to assess his eye and found out he likely has a cancerous mass behind the eye that is causing increased pressure to his eye. If left untreated his eye will eventually rupture. I can give eye medication for pain but it will not treat it. My options are to remove the eye or treat him palliatively and put him down before the eye ruptures. Since he still has so much life in him, and means the world to me, I would love to give him a chance. These funds will cover the entire procedure and any help will be appreciated more than you could ever know. Thank you.
