Hi, I am Linda’s daughter Marie. This is something I never dreamed of doing and it’s breaking me even writing this.

On the 19th of September my mum had been taken into hospital after blood test results flagged up something. As the weeks went by my mum became more poorly with her liver and kidneys and unfortunately contracted Covid in her last few days. On Monday 7th October we recieved the call to get to the hospital as soon as possible (I live 6hours away) we made the journey to find my mum had deteriorated so much we sat with my mum and held her hand. 24hours later on Tuesday 8th of October my mum took her last breathe at the young age of 53 which is no age. She has left a huge hole in our hearts.

Unfortunately my mum didn’t have any funeral plans in place which she shouldn’t have had with her being so young. This is something I didn’t want to do but we need help to give my mum the send off she deserves. She has cared for people all her life and even in work as a carer now it’s time for me my dad and my nan to give her a special day. This money will do this and help us as we aren’t in a position to even do this right now as it was so unexpected.
