My Beautiful Mother, Lynne Gwedoline Hayward

Hi my name is Daren Hayward. At 1.15pm on the 16th January 2022, our Mother Lynne lost her 16 month battle to cancer. A journey that was filled with hope and ended in heart ache. Following the removal of a tumour on October 13th 2020, Lynne suffered a significant stroke post op. The following 16 months would see her cared for and loved by some remarkable people, in particular The Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge. I am planning on running the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon in Our Mothers memory. Some of you will think this challenge easy! After many years of sport, I am left needing a knee replacement. The 13.1 miles will be a small reminder of the pain our Mother and family have experienced during this time. Please get behind me and help a fabulous cause.
