Help My Beautiful Daughter Battle Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Hi, my name is Geisel and I am fundraising for my beautiful and only daughter Maricielo who recently has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer. Mari has been experiencing what she had thought was just some minor health concerns for the last 8 months. After numerous testing during that period, doctors continued to tell her that nothing was wrong and it was just her body telling her that she was stressed. After 2 months of having a consistent cough, Mari came home frustrated on reading week and went to have an Xray done on her chest and lungs. She was rushed to the hospital immediately after the results as they had found a mass in her lungs. Devastatingly, it was cancer which spread from her Lymph Nodes in her neck and downward throughout her body. My daughter studies at the University of Ottawa and her dream is to be a lawyer, she loves music, she plays 5 musical instruments, speaks 4 languages and loves to do crafts. She is the sweetest most loving person with the gentle soul who loves to help others. Her life is now on pause because of this horrible disease. It’s very hard to see my daughter suffering from this illness. Our family is small but we are doing everything possible to help her ease this pain and give all the strength she needs to battle this war within her body. We are praying that Chemotherapy can destroy this demon and that she has a speedy recovery. We will not stop until she’s cancer free even if it means we have to take her to another country for a second opinion. We will fight for her and never let her give up no matter the pain she is enduring. I started this as a fundraiser to ensure Maricielo has the best possible care, that when we are not able to work we can afford everything that is needed to battle this illness. Anything will help us and is greatly appreciated to get our beautiful daughter back on her feet. Thank you all for listening and supporting our family during this incredibly difficult time.
