Hi my name is Michelle, above is a picture of my beautiful dog Ruby, she is an ex breeding dog who lived her life locked in a cage only allowed out to breed and give birth,when she was no longer of any use to the breeder she was going to be put to sleep unless someone took her on so I took her, I've had her for 4 years,she has had so many heath issues because the breeder never treated her heath issues, she has a crumpled ear because of all the ear infections she had that were not treated by the breeder, she has lost an eye since I got her because her eye was ulcerative and couldn't be saved because of scar tissue from previous ulscers and so this is last time the ulcers burst and she lost her eye, she is allergic to just about everything and has medication for that every day she still gets ear infections but they are now treated but a couple of years ago she became paralysed over night because she must have jumped of the bed and she bruised her spinal cord after 6 weeks of cage rest and intense physio she regained most of her mobility but not 100% she walks with a bit of a wobble but at least she is walking,then last week I took Ruby to the vets and they said she needs to see a specialist nuerologist because her back legs are delayed and not responding as they should, but the cost of the consultation is £580 before they have done anything, they will need to do an mri to see the extent of any spinal injury from the previous incident and that would cost between 4 and 5.000 the best thing for Ruby would be for her to have an operation to fix the problem all together which would cost £7500 all inclusive and believe it or not is the cheapest option.

Ruby is insured but only up to £2000 per condition per year and because of all the things I have had to have treated since I've had her, her insurance now cost 182.00 pound per month and her medication is 136.00 pound per month so I can't afford any more cover for her and the insurance companies don't cover pre egsisting conditions, so I'm stuck and this go fund me is my last resort to help my poor girl get the treatment she needs because I've tried everything to raise the money ive tried to sell things on vinted gumtree and eBay to raise the money and even approached french bulldog rescues and charities to help but to no availbut I have no one who can help me and I can't work due to my own spinal issues,I really did not want to do this because It feels like begging but after multiple people told me to not let my pride stand in the way of Ruby getting her treatment I decided to give it a go, my Ruby is beautiful she is funny and she is loving and she has been through so much in her life already and I really hope that some lovely people can find it in there heart to help Ruby get the treatment she needs,she is my world and I don't know what I am going to do if I can't get the money together because I can see her getting steadily worse each day and it's killing me. Please if you read this don't judge me I am doing my best and if you can't help I totally understand everyone is struggling at the moment but if you can help with even the smallest amount Ruby and I would be eternally grateful, sorry its such a long read but thank you for getting this far.all our love
