My beloved beautiful George has been my constant fondest companion and the heart of our home for the last 11 years since he was 2 months..

Yesterday, after a series of veterinary investigations, I received the heartbreaking news that he has lymphoma which has already very quickly and aggressively spread to his liver in less than 6 weeks. The vets estimate he may only have three to six months left to live on palliative care — unless we can begin chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy could give George another 12 months or maybe a little longer of comfortable, happy life, but before we can start this process, the vets need to run detailed costly tests and analyses to find the right treatment combination for my precious George. Unfortunately, the cost of these tests and the chemotherapy itself is far beyond what I can afford alone.

George is still full of life and love — he enjoys his now very slow walks, his multiple cuddles, and his little treats.

I want to give him absolutely every chance possible to live longer next to me and to make absolutely every single day count double. I need to act fast because this agrressive outcome has been spreading fast and will continue to do so with his other so far very healthy organs. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his medical tests, treatment, and palliative / restorative care.
