In Need of Support for Surgery and Rehabilitation (Bii)

Hi, My name is Jessica, and I'm reaching out from a place of vulnerability and urgent need. For far too long, I've quietly been battling a relentless array of health issues that have steadily stripped away my quality of life. What began as subtle discomfort morphed into debilitating cascade of symptoms: extreme fatigue(adrenal), brain fog & memory loss, insomnia, chronic pain(joint & muscle), inflammation, hair loss, endocrine imbalances, migraines, heart palpitations, anxiety, strain on my organs, and more. All of which leaves me exhausted and makes everyday life difficult. After assessing and consulting with doctors, I've been suffering from Breast Implant Illness, and in addition, one of my implants has ruptured, leaking into my system. The rupture has increased my symptoms greatly.

The diagnosis was a double-edged sword - conformation of what my body was screaming, but also a glimmer of hope, as there's a clear path to recovery. The only way to reclaim my health is through a specialized surgery called explantation, which involves the removal of the implants and surrounding inflamed capsules. The procedure is complex, especially with a rupture, as it requires meticulous attention to ensure all foreign material is removed. Unfortunately, despite the severity of BII and the documented health risks, this surgery and much of the necessary follow-up care are not covered by insurance. Nor does my current employer carry insurance. The costs associated with this surgery are substantial. I've received estimates, and the cost for this procedure, including surgeons fees, anesthesia, facility charges, essential post-operative care and specialized detoxification protocols, is projected to be between $19,000-$25,000. This also accounts for things like diagnostic scans, specialized blood tests, travel to a BII specialist surgeon, lost income during recovery, etc. I'm looking at a significant period of recovery, estimated to be 4-6 weeks, adding financial strain to an already overwhelming situation.
