Hi, my name is Melanie and I am fundraising for my dog Daisy. Yesterday she was sick all day and then in the evening she was defecating blood. We took her to the emergency vets and they wanted to keep her in overnight to run tests on her and keep her comfortable. So far the bill has come to £1,100, with the possibility of it rising! I have got pet insurance, but due to her having digestive issues before, unfortunately, they won’t pay out. Daisy is my baby girl! I couldn’t have children, so instead I got a dog! She is the most amazing little girl and everybody she meets falls in love with her! Please help me save my beautiful baby girl and stop my world from falling apart! Thank you for reading.

UPDATE: Have spoken to the vets throughout the day and they think she’s got Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. They are not sure what’s causing it. She’s more stable now though, but they want to keep her in for another night as she’s not out of the woods yet. Because of having to stay another night - the fees will be even higher than originally quoted! I really need all the help I can get to pay for the extortionate vet bills - so if you can help - please do! Thank you for taking your time to read this.
