My autoimmune dental condition - Resorption
Donation protected
Hi,
Firstly, thankyou for visiting this page! It feels so weird to be setting this up!
A few people asked me to set this up as they’d like to help me with the costs of my dental treatment - which I’m actually blown away by!
I have a dental condition called Resorption - basically my teeth eat themselves from the inside out. A lot of it happens under the gum with me, but when it happens to the tooth above gum line, that’s when I know I’m on a timeline before the tooth crumbles. The tooth goes pink and then slowly crumbles.
It’s affecting 7 teeth and on 28th May, I start treatment for the first 4 teeth. Which includes:
4 teeth extracted
3 implants
1 bridge
Once this work is done, I imagine we will start looking at the other 4 teeth.
As it’s affected the teeth top and bottom at the front it’s affected me so much, my mental health has just gone downhill. I’ve been suffering in silence for 2.5 years and I can’t take it anymore, I have to take action to live my life, rather than constantly worrying about my wobbly tooth or the fact that I’ve got a denture in! Enough is enough!
Thankyou for taking the time to read this far and if you do donate, it will mean more to me than you’ll ever imagine!
Oh and to give you an idea of the cost for stage 1 of the treatment - £11,215!
