My Aunt was murdered & we need some support

Hello to all reading this, you may know me (or not) but I am Bernice and I’m a photographer based in London. I’m coming to you today on behalf of my mother and family. It’s with a heavy heart I write that my Aunt known as Mama Anouchka, was murdered on October 12th. The investigation is still on going but the police have finished the autopsy and will be releasing her body to us.

My aunt was a wonderful mother and journalist who soul deserves to rest in peace and she will continue live on through her only child.

We anticipate the burial to be within the next few weeks. This fund is to help cover flights so my mum and Aunt can fly back home to Congo (DRC) to bury her, as well as funds for the time off, cover rent and to go towards funeral expenses.

I hesitated to this for a while but I have a strong community behind me who remind me everyday that life may feel lonely but we truly are not and times like this it’s important to lean on each other.

I know times are extremely difficult and appreciate anything.
