Save our cat Kobe from FIP – Our Last Hope
Donation protected

Dear Friends, Kind Strangers, and Animal Lovers,
We are writing this with broken hearts, feeling helpless and overwhelmed. Our sweet, loving cat Kobe has been diagnosed as a suspect case of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a disease so cruel that it was once considered a death sentence.
Kobe is not just a pet. He is our family, our comfort, and our joy during tough times. He’s the soft purr that soothes us when we’re stressed, the playful spirit that makes us smile when life feels too heavy. And now, his life is hanging by a thread.
The treatment for FIP is a miracle in the making, but it comes at a price we simply cannot afford. We’ve already spent what little we had on initial vet visits and diagnostics. My sister and I are both full-time students, scraping by on what little we earn. We are doing everything we can, but it’s not enough.
Watching Kobe deteriorate, knowing there’s a chance to save him but being unable to afford the treatment, is gut-wrenching. His energy is fading, and the spark in his eyes is dimming. We feel like we’re losing him, and it’s tearing us apart.
We are desperate. This is our last hope. We need to raise CAD $9,000 to start his treatment immediately.
Here is the breakdown of the cost:
+Medication for FIP treatment (84 days): $3,000-$6000 (estimated cost based on his weight and dosage requirements).
Diagnostic tests and blood work: $500–$700 (to monitor his progress throughout the treatment).
Veterinary visits and supportive care: $1,000–$1,500.
Emergency fund for unexpected complications: $500.
The total estimated cost is $5,000–$8700,
We are absolutely devastated because we know we can’t do this without help.
Watching Kobe struggle and knowing that there is a lifeline within reach—but not within our means. Every moment counts. Without treatment, we will lose him.
We know times are tough for everyone, but if you can spare anything to help Kobe, you would be giving him the gift of life. Every dollar will go directly to his treatment—medications, vet care, and follow-ups.
Please, if you can’t donate, share Kobe’s story. Help us reach someone who might be able to give us the support we need.
Kobe is a fighter, but he can’t do this alone. We can’t do this alone. Your kindness could be the reason Kobe gets a second chance at life.
With shattered hearts but hopeful spirits,
