My Abuelas Food - Help Us During This Time
Donation protected
My Abuelas Food & La Dolce Madness...a Puerto Rican food experience, have been collaborating for over 2 years now with the goal of providing a heartwarming and delicious culinary experience for the community. Luis Martínez, chef and creator of My Abuelas embraces his roots and pays tribute to his Abuelas with every single plate he prepares. The mother-daughter baking duo, La Dolce Madness, adds the key elements to seal the perfect meal experience with their 100% homemade Latinx desserts. Together we've created an amazing loving family striving to have a little slice of Puerto Rico in the heart of ATL. After months of detailed planning and lots of excitement, we decided to make The Spindle our home and had our soft opening on February 4 of this year. We filled this lovely space with memories, traditions, and culture. Amidst our second month, the world turned upside down with news about Coronavirus spreading fast. In that short amount of time, we had to manage to adapt to a new world order while keeping our business afloat. We are so humbled and grateful to receive so much love and support from our community during these truly hard times.
Unfortunately, we are currently facing the hard decision to remain closed for a while as one of our team members has reported symptoms. As test results arrive we will evaluate how to move forward and reopen. We value everyone's safety and it is our duty to always act in a responsible manner. We humbly ask for your generosity in these uncertain times as we'll be accepting donations to help cover some of our expenses such as rent, payroll, groceries, etc. It is our deepest desire to continue providing our services to all including opening full time in 2021. Of course within safety guidelines and with the same love and passion that we always do. We thank you for any donation and assistance that can be provided.
