My 40th birthday Skydive for Brake - the road safety charity
2025 will mark two milestones in my life. The first is turning *40* and the second is that it’ll be 20 years since my beautiful sister, Victoria, was killed in a car crash.
After doing two bungee jumps a number of years ago, it was always my plan to move onwards and upwards to a skydive! I want to do this jump in memory of Victoria this year and also to raise money for Brake, who do amazing work.
Brake is a national road safety charity dedicated to preventing road death and injury and supporting those bereaved or injured in road crashes.
I’ll be doing a tandem skydive with ‘Skyline Skydiving’ from around 12,000 feet with the parachute being opened at 5,000 feet. I’ll then float down for the last mile.
Fundraising aim - £1000
Jump date - 3 May 2025 from 10.30am
Jump venue - North West Parachute Centre, Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria, LA11 7LS (sat nav)
Any contribution you can make will be so gratefully received.
Friends and family are welcome to come to watch on the day and I would love it if you want to come along. Please be aware that facilities on the airfield are relatively basic! There is a canteen serving hot and cold food and toilet facilities are also available.
Wish me luck, and sending a huge THANK YOU to all who donate.
