My 27 year old grandson has brain cancer.

Hi , my name is Terri, and I am Tyler‘s grandmother! He is 27 years old and the sweetest boy/man you would ever want to call your best friend. He has a awesome girl friend who has 3 small children in school. They live in Danville Ky. 2 hours away from me. A couple of months ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor called astrocytoma, After suffering from a gamma seizure in the middle of the night,he underwent surgery on his frontal lobe part of his brain. They were able to remove only 90% of the tumor after brain surgery. He has been having monthly MRI’s to monitor the growth. Next step is Chemotherapy and radiation. He cannot drive his self with this diagnosis. He can only work part time, and he is depending on his girlfriend who he lives with to take him to his appointments. She has a full time job, not to mention taking care of her kids. His appointments are in Lexington. This is a 1 hour drive from their apartment. He only recently got on government funded insurance. Their bills are continuing to grow as fast as the tumor. They are having car issues now and had to even rent a car when theirs was broke. I have volunteered to be available for any transportation, but they are in deep debt, which is growing every day. They need some serious help! My family, is trying to help but his situation is becoming more serious everyday . We don’t normally ask for help! But I am so worried about him. I would do anything I could just to spend time with him. He is proud and does not know yet that I am trying to help. Anything, any amount would help put gas in the car and maybe keep them from being evicted. I’m so worried. Please help me help him and his family! Thank you so much.
