My 11,000 ft skydive to support North West Air Ambulance
Donation protected
On March 8, I have signed up to take part in a sponsored skydive to raise vital funds for the North West Air Ambulance charity!
Yes it sounds terrifying, but it is something I have wanted to do for quite some time. Working in the media, I see the incredible work of the North West Air Ambulance paramedics and how they respond to incidents and save lives.
Thrown out of a plane at 11,000ft, and free falling at a speed of 120mph... yikes!
My mission is to take to the skies by raising a minimum of £395 to help the charity and its staff continue their amazing work. Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be massively appreciated.
With no government or NHS funding, the charity rely on the generosity of others to continue flying to save lives.
More information about North West Air Ambulance: "The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life-changing difference. We operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is crucial. "
