My 10 year old cousin as he fights against cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Grace Leek and I desire to help my family as they work hard to fight against cancer for my 10 year old cousin Emmanuel
Emmanuel was diagnosed with cancer of the bone 5 Years ago (2017) after experiencing pain in his leg. He then had his left leg amputated as the cancer had damaged his bone.
In 2019, the doctors discovered that he had cancer in his right lung and after many chemotherapy & radiation treatments, along with 2 relapses, he was able to complete his treatment in February this year
In July 2022 (last month) the doctors found that the cancer in the bone had come back and moved to his right leg as well as another relapse on the same lung, amounting to 3 relapses!
We were advised that the chemotherapy and radiation is not responding well to his body and that there is not much that the doctors can now do to help him
My aunty, Angeer Leek Deng is a single mother of 2, residing in Edmonton. She is unable to work to support her family as she needs to attend to my little cousin Emmanuel 24/7. We are so thankful for the government grant that she receives on a monthly basis however, it barely manages to cover her rental and utilities
My heart also goes out to my Aunty as I have seen the emotional, physical, mental stress and brokenness that she has to endure from day to day, month to month and year to year. It has been a heavy road to walk, starting 5 years ago, seeing her little 10 year old boy go through such difficult times in his little life
I have seen the pain that my cousin has to endure and not to mention, the discomfort and pain when his mother has to transfer him into her tiny vehicle to get him to the hospital and back. Her vehicle has also been giving her lots of issues, making it really difficult to travel to and from the hospital.
Your financial support will be greatly appreciated in order to assist my aunty with the following
- Vehicle
- Medication
- Utilities
- Gas to and from the hospital
- Other necessities
I believe that by relieving her from financial stress and assisting her with finances towards a roadworthy vehicle, she will be able to give more time and attention to Emmanuel and her daughter, allowing her to have one less stress to deal with
We will continue to trust God for his healing, even though the doctors are unable to do much for him from here onwards
Thank you for reading my story and contributing towards this cause.
God bless you for being a blessing to my family
