Sometime early this year she became lethargic and showed vision loss. She bumps into furniture and unable to jump to the couch without struggling or falling she crawls her way up. We see her eat and drink water. Pee and poo is ok, no concerns. She got a routine blood test to check if she has an infection but all negative and only showed mild elevated liver. The vet said it was normal with her age. We were referred to an eye specialist but we did not go as we are on a budget crunch. We tried to make sure she feels comfortable and got her toys that make sounds so she can play.
Then after a couple of months she showed weakness, weight loss and became more lethargic. Her head wobbles and she doesn’t play much and shivers when she does, she falls like she’s dizzy. Her pupils are dilated since her vision problem but she still finds her food and drink and finds her way around the house. We went back and we were recommended another blood test or imaging. I asked the vet what he recommended as money is a problem he said another blood test and a urine test and FIV. I said ok because I trust him whatever he thinks is best. Then all came back negative again. That was my last money.
I was unsatisfied as Bella was only poked and left untreated. We were given a supplement for her as she was lethargic. Not even a week after I spent $700 she showed new symptoms of circling around and I contacted them but they said it could be an ear infection but not even a week after the visit he always checks her ears and doesn’t see anything. I can’t afford another consultation so asked them if they can flag it but no.
That's where we lost our trust with the vet and Bella is still left untreated.
Now I want to make sure this money I came Up with is worth it and we need a vet that will actually care.’ Please help our cat Bella.
The funds we'll raise with this will all be for her diagnosis and treatment.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Bella. Any help—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply kind thoughts—means the world to us right now.
