Carmen's road to recovery

Hi everyone, My name is Mari and I would love it if you could support a very special and loving person as they go through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

 

For those of you who don’t know Carmen’s story, at the age of 42, she found a lump in her breast and quickly learned she had bilateral breast cancer. She recently underwent a double mastectomy and is vowing to fight this with every fiber of her being (we all know how tough she is.) It’s going to be a long journey and she needs our prayers and support. A journey that began when her mother, Maria was diagnosed with cancer and is currently fighting. Carmen made it her mission to make sure her mother was cared for while facing this disease symptom free, and then learned of the nightmare diagnosis.

 

Needless to say, this journey will be challenging. Carmen has been generous and compassionate to others fighting this fight, and we want to help return the favor. Her whole family and close friends know that Carmen has the strength and courage to fight this and live for a long time. We want to make her as comfortable and stress-free as possible while she battles this, and we decided to set up this go fund me to support her during her treatment and recovery. Money is the last thing she needs to worry about, particularly as she navigates through the unknown. This money will help with everyday life expenses, any future surgeries and help mitigate the ongoing cost of battling this disease . Please help us ease her financial burden. We want her to get the best treatment and care that will help her stay comfortable.
