My family is raising money to help cover the costs of my Grandparents medical treatments and recovery.

Update: Just when we thought that we were out of the woods with Grandma, my Grandfather had a stroke this Sunday and now both of them need medical care. My grandfather is 86 and will need physical therapy to recover mobility and speech aside from medications and in-home care. My Grandmother in Venezuela has been battling medical issues for some time; she is a tough woman with an enduring spirit, but these past few months her health has taken a turn for the worse and she needed surgery. The state of the country being what it is, we were fortunate to find a clinic that could perform the emergency procedures and care Abuela needed. She is now recovering from COVID, gallbladder removal, and kidney issues. I don't even want to think about what might have happened if she wasn't able to be treated at the clinic.

Post-surgery, she is doing better than before and will also need continued treatment while recovering and regaining her strength. This whole situation has been very tough physically, emotionally, and financially. On top of all that, political tensions between the USA and Venezuela also make it impossible to visit and keep us on the sidelines.
