I rescued Cooper in 2019 from a kill shelter in Los Angeles. They told me that he was 12+ years old and didn't have long to live, but I still chose to give him the best chance possible because I didn't want him to spend the rest of his life in a shelter and be euthanized at any moment.

I later come to find out that he's ~6-7 years old, full of life, the sweetest boy, loves booty rubs, and recovering from abuse. I taught him how to sit, cuddle, and learn to trust people again.

He had a lot of bumps that I would test and found that they were non-cancerous. There was always one that I kept an eye on because it kept growing. I went to get a second opinion and come to find out my gut instinct was right, the tumor is cancerous, growing and is beginning to spread.

I sent his insurance a request to cover the surgery to remove the tumor but they rejected my request. I'm not able to cover the entire cost and need help with covering some of it. Anything helps! Those who know Cooper know he's the sweetest boy and I want him to continue to brighten other people's lives.
