My name is Phoebee, and I worked with Ernesto for around 6 years at HUSD Special Education. He had been a wonderful student and was loved by many. He has multiple medical conditions that made him be in and out of the hospital. He has awesome parents that supported him as much as they could.

Ernesto is not easy to care for since he needs total care, but he will always come to school perfectly groomed, and I will always remember him always smelling like a baby. His parents will make sure that he is always presentable. Anytime the school asks his parents for supplies, they'll make sure to send it the next day. However, Ernesto's battle ended on 12/29/2024. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Due to expensive funeral expenses and the family wanting to send his body back to his home country, Guatemala, where he is going to have his final resting place, we are raising funds to support them during this difficult time. Mi nombre es Phoebee, yo trabajé con Ernesto durante unos 6 años en Educación Especial en HUSD. Había sido un estudiante maravilloso y era querido por muchos. Él tenia múltiples condiciones médicas que lo tenían dentro y fuera del hospital. Tiene unos padres maravillosos que le han apoyado todo lo que han podido.

Ernesto no fue fácil de cuidar, ya que necesita cuidados totales, pero siempre llegaba a la escuela perfectamente arreglado, y siempre lo recordaré oliendo como un bebé. Sus padres se encargaban de que estara siempre presentable. Siempre que la escuela pedia un material a sus padres, se asegurarán de enviárselo al día siguiente". Sin embargo, la batalla de Ernesto terminó el 29/12/2024. Le sobreviven sus padres, dos hermanos y una hermana.

Debido a los caros gastos del funeral y a que la familia quiere enviar su cuerpo a su país natal, Guatemala, donde tendrá su última morada, estamos recaudando fondos para ayudarles en estos momentos difíciles. Cualquier cantidad de dinero, grande o pequeña, supondrá una gran diferencia. Gracias de antemano a todos ustedes. Que Dios bendiga vuestros corazones.
