Daniel suddenly and tragically passed away from gastrointestinal issues causing him to aspirate on 3/3/2021. Our family is shocked by his passing and are not prepared for all of that goes along with planning a funeral especially the cost.
Daniel will be cremated and his parents want to bring his cremains to South Mills NC so our family and all of his friends can celebrate his life in the only place he ever knew as home. There will be a service and we would like to rent a place where everyone can gather safely and keep within any guidelines that may still be in place due to COVID. We plan to have the service and celebration in April when the weather is a little warmer because if you knew Daniel he did not like the cold.
Daniel had the biggest loving heart he loved his family and his friends so very much. There isn't a person that he didn't think about or talk about no matter the situation. It pained him that so many people he grew up with have passed away the past few years. We never in a million years thought that we would be organizing his funeral at his young age.
We are asking for donations to help with funeral expenses, a place to celebrate his life, and any travel expenses that may be incurred. Daniel had just recently moved to Rowe VA which is about 7 hours away from South Mills NC. Daniel's parents are both disabled and live on a fixed income so the costs for this funeral is not something that they are able to afford without help and they want to give him the send off that he deserves.
Thank you all for the out pouring of love that you have shown us we always knew Daniel was special but to hear so many people were touched by his short life has brought his parents and his family much needed peace.
We appreciate any help that you are able to assist with. Any amount helps and if you aren't able to donate please share with your family and friends. If the donations go over the goal amount those funds will be donated to the SPCA in Daniel's name. He would love that.
