Our family has been supporting Mercy Project for some time now because we believe in their mission and the process in which they are finding solutions to end child slavery in Ghana, Africa. We visited in January to explore the option of partnering with MP and we are so excited that we have been given the opportunity to work on the ground in Ghana to help bring freedom.
As we look back over both of our lives, we feel like God has been preparing us for this new journey for quite some time and it's pretty incredible to see the works of His hands so clearly. Our move will take place this summer and could be for 2 to 3 to more years long. We will wait for God to continue to write the pages of this story and we will willingly say YES to His plan.
As we prepare for our departure, we have numerous tasks to complete, such as eye exams, dental visits (extensive work for Chad is needed), home school curriculum to purchase, and a year's worth of daily use items to stock up on.
