A series of hardships and medical issues have caught up with Mr. Herndon, a veteran on a fixed income who served in the Army from 1965 to 1968.  He  recently made a humbling plea for help on Nexdoor Neighbor for immediate assistance with his roof and plumbing. 

I’ve communicated with Mr. Herndon and I can assure you he’s trying his best to follow-up with all the suggestions, and will continue to do so, but for now, he’s hitting a brick wall. Remember a time when someone helped you and you vowed to “Pay it Forward?”  Well, that time is now. 

Mr. Herndon just needs a little help.  Let’s thank him for his service and give him the appreciation that he may not have received in a bygone era.
