Hi, my name's Abel Koua, and I'm fundraising for my mom, who just left us for heaven.

My mother and I, dreamed of making her life better. After so many years of hardship in Ivory Coast Coast (West Africa), she had to come and live the American dream with me. And so, on July 11, 2022, she landed on American soil. She was so happy, saying she felt like she was in heaven. For me, it was pride and the wind of a great accomplishment was blowing me. Alas! An unpleasant surprise awaited me on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 4:00 pm when I returned from work. I came to find my mother lifeless in the living room, in front of the TV. Words are weak to express my sorrow. Just 10 days in USA and it is already the end? Dear brothers and sisters, from here and elsewhere, I never imagined that I would be in charge of a body transfer and burial right now. I am calling for your help to allow my mother a dignified journey to heaven. Thank you for supporting me! Abel Koua

Salut, je me nomme Abel Koua, je fais cette collecte de fonds pour ma mère qui nous a quitté pour le paradis.

Ma mère et moi, avons rêvé de rendre sa vie meilleure. Après tant d'années d'épreuves en Côte d'Ivoire , il fallait qu’elle vienne vivre le rêve américain avec moi. Ainsi, le 11 juillet 2022, elle atterrit sur le sol Américain. Elle était si joyeuse, disant qu’elle se sentait comme au paradis. Pour moi, c’était une fierté et le vent d’un grand accomplissement me soufflait. Hélas! Une surprise désagréable m’attendais le Jeudi 21 Juillet 2022 à 16h au retour du boulot. Je suis venu trouver ma mère sans vie au Salon, devant la télé. Les mots sont faibles pour traduire ma peine. Juste 10 jours en Amérique et c’est déjà la fin? Chers frères et Sœurs, d’ici et d’ailleurs, je n’ai jamais imaginé avoir la charge d’un transfert de corps et d’un enterrement actuellement où je vous parle. J’appelle à votre aide pour permettre à ma mère un voyage digne au paradis. Merci de me soutenir! Abel Koua
