Hi! My name is Mira and I am raising money for Sandy, Marco, and their almost two-year-old son, Farid. Sandy and her family are currently living at a shelter on the border, waiting for their appointment to seek asylum. After having escaped cartel violence in southern Mexico, Sandy and her family fled north. While they wait months for their appointment to hopefully enter the country, Sandy and Marco must continue living and raising their son, Farid.
