Help Us Honor a Life Taken Too Soon

Today, June 8th, my brother was shot 6 times for nothing. He was walking out of the store, and some guys started an altercation with him as he was walking out by himself. I guess they all didn’t feel safe, so they shot my brother 6 times—one to the head and the rest to the body.

My brother never deserved that. He was such a sweet and kind guy. He wasn't in a gang or anything; he was always to himself. He loved to play basketball and always be out. He was the light in every room he walked in. Everyone liked him; he never had any enemies. He was only 17, turning 18 on July 22. He was so excited for his birthday and never made it.

Rest in peace, my brother, forever 17.
