Hal and Jeanne Metzler were on thier way to their new residents. When stopping to get gas the RV would not start. While Hal was working on getting it going there was a bit of an explosion . Jeanne heard Hal yelling from the RV. He came running out on fire, trying to rip his clothes off. And of course is burned severely on his body ,head and mostly his right arm. Hal was medi-lifted to Burn Unit in Phoenix, Arizona 3 hours away. Jeanne had to stay with the RV and truck to have it towed from the station as well as get it fixed and find a safe place for her to stay. Hal is in stable condition at the moment with a long road of treatment inpatient and outpatient. First surgery Monday to start removing burned skin. They will have no where to stay in Phoenix. She is trying to get help to find mechanic to fix RV (80.00 per hour) to get it to a safe place to stay.
Hal has a long road to recover with the risk of infection high and painful. Any donation to help with medical care, inpatient and outpatient for bandage changing ,as well as the air-vac cost. The cost for RV repairs and keep Jeanne in a safe place while she prepares for Hal's care and return home would be greatly appreciated . Please send prayers and thank you in advance for any help.
