Please help a deserving Veteran remain in his home by making it accessible. Amazing folks have volunteered free labor on 3/9, we just need to buy materials, estimated at $5000-$6000. Big ticket items include 2 twin mattresses, boxsprings, metal frames, and all bedding (mattress pads, sheets, blankets, quilts, etc) as the 1st floor room is to small to accommodate their queen bed and allow walker/wheelchair access, and a stackable washer/dryer to fit in current closet the team will convert to 1st floor laundry . Also materials to fix the porch entrance, adding handrails inside and out and exterior lights for safety.

She’s already consumed as the caregiver for both her elderly Dad, Mom with dementia, and works while managing her own medical needs - just last year she survived a stroke at only 49 years old.
