DAVID CHRISTOPHER DAVIS SR.

July 6, 1972 – November 14, 2021

David Christopher Davis Sr., 49, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2021, in his home in Hemet, CA.; Surrounded by loved ones who put in every effort to help him during his time of need. David was born on July 6, 1972 to parents Ernest Davis and Darlene (Blake) Davis and in Los Angeles, CA. He grew up with a large family of four siblings. David attended Fullerton College and UCLA with a degree in English and trade certification in Information Technology and had an extensive 25 year career of technical support. He has spent nearly two decades working for the county of Riverside and was scheduled to retire in July of 2022.

David was also an avid sports fan and played American football, baseball, and basketball. His favorite sports teams included UCLA, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Lakers, Saints, and Dodgers. His favorite things to do were go to the movies, tailgating, and conversing about sports and players (as well as some trash talking) and a great love of music. David met his wife Selina in 2001, and they married October 16, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV. They celebrated 17 years of marriage in 2021. 20 years total of dating and "courting" like the old folks say.

David is survived by his wife, Selina Davis. In addition to his wife are his sons, David Jr. and Dominic Davis, as well as daughter, Brianna Hennington, and granddaughter, Aubrey Johnson. He was a proud husband, father, son, uncle, cousin, friend, co-worker, sports fan, and so much more.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at Thomas Miller Mortuary -Corona Chapel. Repass will be at the home of the Davis family in Norco, CA. Those who wish to remember David and show their support are welcome to attend. Selina needs hugs.

11/16/21 - UPDATE: We have received an update from the coroner’s office and they have confirmed that the cause of death was not COVID related.

My brother Dominic has been hospitalized for his own safety, and is currently awaiting treatment at this time.

Hello everyone.

David Davis has passed away today at the age of 49. We are absolutely devastated.

He passed at our home. All attempts were made to help him. The current COD is unknown.

He leaves behind a wife, two sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, and so much more.

He was the provider for my family and we were in the process of moving, so we are asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses and some finances until my mother can get his affairs in order. My mother is the full time care taker for their youngest child, my brother, who needs 24/7 care.

Rest in peace Dad. You will be greatly missed.

Please live your life the longest you can, because you may never know what will happen during it...
