Tooth Fairies Wanted

My name is Daniel and I am fundraising for dental implants to replace my congenitally missing adult premolars.

I was born missing two adult teeth. The right baby premolar survived over 40 years but not through the pandemic. The other won't last much longer.

A missing tooth is quite startling. It causes social concern.

It's possible to get a partial denture but considered a short term option. Long days on the job would make this option cumbersome, especially one on each side? Ugh. Clean restrooms are not always available.

I dream of the moment human tooth regeneration becomes possible—don't we all? Some research indicates current trials. Maybe in a decade we'll have our very own brand new teeth on demand.

I don't know how long a baby tooth is supposed to survive. The early hominid, Lucy, still has her adult teeth even after losing her life; and LH-4 has nothing but teeth. If I kept my teeth in the Earth would they at least endure another million years?

Health insurance covers my dental cleanings and reconstructive procedures for existing teeth but omits implants which require a referral to a specialist outside my primary care team. Additionally, I'd like to have my mercury fillings removed.

A consultation is scheduled in May for the 4 to 6-month single implant procedure. (Just when my lease expires and I'll be moving—somewhere. Ug.)

My finances have been flat or negative for some time with multiple business and career plans in a training or rehearsal phase. I created and toured a comedy act most of my professional life. The other way to fund these medical needs is to simply have another tour with the stage acts I've already worked, so, alternatively, if you are a casting director—.
