Help Gracie Run Again

Hi! My name is Michael, and I'm fundraising for my coworker, Kelsie, and her fur baby Gracie. Gracie needs TPLO surgery in order to continue to enjoy her younger years as the athletic and energetic dog she was before her knee injury.
Over the last three months I've been checking in on Gracie every time I see Kelsie. For months Kelsie has been desperately bouncing from different veterinarians while holding out hope that Gracie will heal without surgery. The unfortunate reality of unaffordable veterinarian bills that many pet parents face has left Kelsie feeling helpless as she tries to save money to afford this surgery for Gracie. After asking her dozens of time how things were going and hearing the same response I decided to organize this fundraiser and find support from other pet parents.
A little background on Gracie. Kelsie reports that she is a sweet, smart, and people loving dog. Her attentiveness has fostered an incredibly strong bond that's allowed her to be well trained. Her athletic nature pairs well with Kelsie, as they spend their time in the mountains on hikes and adventures. As many pet parents understand, the pure joy experienced when we watch our fur baby enjoy the world is priceless. Three year old Gracie can no longer live the quality of life that she most enjoys without an in-tact knee. With knee surgery this Staffordshire Terrier has another decade of life full of running and exploring the mountains.
Considering the recent devastation in Colorado, I recognize the timing of this ask isn't amazing. As residents of Lafayette, CO, Kelsie and Gracie understand firsthand how much need exists beyond their story. Nonetheless, I'm hoping to do my part in giving Gracie her life back.
