On Sunday June 10th, 2018, our loving brother/friend/favourite DJ went boating across Lake Ontario to enjoy his Sunday evening. Things took a turn for the worse when Theepan fell from the boat. Since that Sunday night, Theepan has not been located and his whereabouts are still unknown. Several of Theepan’s friends and family have been searching for him day and night hoping to find him. A social media hashtag #BringBSoulHome was made in hopes to raise awareness and inform the community to keep an eye out for him.
Theepan left Sri Lanka at the young age of 10, where he lived away from his parents for 17 years. He was the only son and sent money to his parents back home to support them every month. He financially supported his family from the time he got his first job and has continued doing so every month. Both Theepan’s parents and his sister are back in Sri Lanka anxiously awaiting news regarding their loving son and brother.
This page is dedicated mainly to support his family financially. Since Theepan’s whereabouts are still unknown we would like to ensure that his family is still able to receive the same support.
Theepan is a selfless and genuine individual, his work and career has been set in stone and he is known for being an amazing person within every community. His music is his passion and his smile is as sincere as can be. He worked hard to become the icon he is, and it came with dedication and hard work. He is iconic and broke many barriers within his career. Theepan, BSOUL, BassKilla, DJ BrownSoul we miss you, we love you, and we’re awaiting your return.
